The ATLA Religion Database® (ATLA RDB®) is the premier index to journal articles, book reviews, and collections of essays in all fields of religion, with coverage from 1949 and retrospective indexing for somejournal issues as far back as the nineteenth century. Journals are selected for inclusion according to their scholarly merit and scope.

ATLA CPLI provides indexing of periodicals, essay collections, church documents, papal documents and electronic resources expressly addressing the practice and intellectual tradition of Roman Catholicism. ATLA CPLI contains indexing from 1981 to the present and is updated quarterly. Content within its scope is selected for indexing based on enduring scholarly merit.  NOTE:  this is not a full-text database but only provides bibliographic and citation information.
